Ulule - September 17, 2022 - Newsletter #5: 🏔🏃‍♀️ D-3 and the legendary 20 mark (hours / thousand euros)

Dear supporters,

What emotion !

For those who follow the trail, the annual and unmissable meeting of the elite of world trail running is the UTMB (Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc). A week of festivities taking place at the end of August in Chamonix. Several races (from 15km to 350km), trail superstars, thousands of anonymous champions and supporters, all this ends with the queen event, the UTMB -> a short 170km jog around Mont-Blanc, with 10,000 meters of elevation gain.

For 20 years since this race has taken place, it has been said that no one could finish it under the symbolic bar of 20 hours. And this year, 2 people broke this legendary bar: Kilian Jornet (🥇🇪🇸 in 19h49m30s) and Mathieu Blanchard (🥈🇫🇷 in 19h54m50s). 2 immense champions!

The 2 champions at the finish. In addition, Kilian had Covid the previous week!

On our very small scale, we wanted to announce that since this morning, Trail up! also passed the 20 thousand euros mark collected to make this project real!

This happened very quickly, thanks to you, and thanks to the promotion of the project by Ulule. So, once again, a huge thank you!! 🫶

There are still 3 days left to participate in the campaign , to reach, who knows, 25,000 euros ?!

You can still get your game, for 35 euros (free shipping), at the foot of the tree!

And above all, you can still be part of the founding community of Trail up! . We will not forget you: you will have a special place in the entire life of this project.

You will always be the first to know about developments, extensions, new platforms, etc... We will work on events in 2023 to keep this community alive, and we will always give you a special welcome!

At the same time, this morning, we received the proofs (Bon À Tir) from the printer, which are used to definitively confirm the colors, and the subsequent cutting of the elements. We have a few colors to adjust (the board and some cards make it a little dark) before validating this, and launching the print.

The tracing paper indicates the cutting areas

The worst case scenario is that we have to drive 3 hours this week to see the printer to adjust the colors in real time. Imagine if we manufactured on the other side of the world!

We don't give up in this final stretch!!

Have a great weekend ☀️

The Trail up team!
